An overpriced and underserved place with mixed reviews. Weekend dimsum was better. Their Ha Gow (蝦餃) & bean curve wrap (腐竹筍) were excellent. It locates on the busy main street but they provide the valet parking in the evenings and weekend. I like to park in the near by Hudson Lights building that gives you first 90 minutes free parking garage.
Great food and great prices! I used to always go to Chinatown for dim sum and this is definitely the spot to go to!
Great service, food was prepared well, price was more than fair.
Necessary disclaimer: If your anything other than Korean and don't frequent Korean places this will be a bit of a culture shock. It was a very pleasurable experience dining here. The food is brought to you very quickly and set on the table before you have a chance to even look at the menu. Going over the menu to match what was served to know what i was eating was very interesting. It was very fast paced service and an abundance of food. Great for groups, definitely not for picky eaters. Very different dining experience than you'll experience at most restaurants but the newness while shocking was very refreshing. Definently coming back to give my friends the same shock i recieved. Missing start due to abruptness of the staff. All business little fun.
First time I came here for dinner. Lamb dish and beef in squash were very good. I learned that they have dim sum for lunch and decided to give that a try. Came back in few days for dim sum and really enjoyed it. Both times I was served good tea with my food. Servers were very friendly.
Nice clean restaurant with pretty good dim sum and decent service. Sometimes it gets very crowded and they do rush you around (esp. on the weekends) but if you visit on a quiet weekday morning then it all works perfectly.
Great Chinese dim sum
From daytime dim sum to dinner Aquarius presents a constellation of dishes in a simple yet elegant setting. The real stars are the solid staples of Cantonese cuisine. Location at Fort Lee means easy access for Rockland and Bergen, but also for Northern Manhattan via quick shuttle buses at the GWB bus terminal. Escape the city for a day and check it out.
We had a party of ten for dim sum on a Sunday at noon. This place is sure popular with people eating outside for tables. We enjoyed a number of the dishes off of the carts as wellsome that we ordered of the menu. The duck was particularly good with nice flavoring. In the end the price per head was quite reasonable and there were leftovers to take home.
Fresh food, great price point come here early during the weekends to avoid lines for dimsum.
Always fresh, delicious and great variety of food! I've been coming here for decades since they were called Silver Pond. Love their Dim Sum!
I regularly come purchasing some food in here. I enjoy the swift service and well prepared food. Kudos.
Great dim sum! An art piece. Every time I go there, it has a long waiting line.
Don't order anything battered. All the same sweet thick batter. Didn't cook up properly and was still wet inside. The seafood dishes were excellent. Attentive service.
Great food. The special chicken needs to be ordered in advance. It’s got huge portion (better shared by over four) but definitely worth trying
They have a very nice atmosphere inside, everything is done professionally. Their selection of vegetarian options are quite delicious 😋
Great place for dim sum
Skip the NYC Chinatown crowd and come here. Professional, clean, and pleasant experience!
Best pan fried seafood noodles in Jersey!
I have been here on multiple occasions for weekend dim-sum and family dinners. Aquarius has slowly become our family's go-to restaurant for large gathering and celebrations. Their seafood entrees like the steamed fish and lobster sautéed with scallions and gingers are their signature specialties. But they also excel at other popular Cantonese and Chinese dishes such as Peking duck and claypot eggplant with salted fish. On weekends, their full-fledged dim sum menu is probably one of the best in Northern Jersey. To eat in true Cantonese fashion, most dishes should be shared and the atmosphere is typically very festive. Weekend mornings are the busiest times for the restaurant and wait time could be hours.
Authentic Chinese cuisine dim sum styles. Ready made small plates on pushing carts to choose from. Or order from menu. Usually very crowded and noisy. Many dishes to choose from.
I had a dim sum lunch before and it was amazing so I brought my whole family. The dinner was quite different and I didn't recognize any food I know from Chinese takeout and flipped through the menu several times. But after all, everything we ordered was fantastic. They serve authentic Chinese food. If you never had real chines food, it may be hard to choose but probably OK because they all taste good.
This Chinese restaurant food is excellent. Beef and seafood ingredients are fresh and taste is wonderful. Dimsum is great as well.
Another good dim sum place to go to in Bergen county. Push carts in the weekends and on weekdays on-demand dim sum for a slightly higher price. Weekend wait can be long.
Very authentic Chinese. Very delicious.
The best dim sum in all Bergen County. My sister and I always order tons of siu mai and ha gow and they are always consistent. Juicy, flavorful and freshly made. And the taste is always consistent. You don’t have to go to China town. Just come to this place. It is the best Hong Kong dim sum. Awesome job guys. Thank you for making us so happy on weekends. You also have the best customer service. Staff and boss are always welcoming and nice 😊
After rebranding, this place serves pretty high quality Chinese food. Staff here are super helpful at finding best options for you to eat. Does get overwhelming if it is busy.Edit: went again for dim sum, which IMO is better than their normal menu. Overall the taste and quality are much better than most dim sum places in New York and oftentimes cheaper
I've been here twice. The food was great but the service was poor especially on my second visit. Waited 1/2 hour for our appetizer and the entrees came in slowly. What I noticed also was others who came after us got their food in timely fashion. Maybe you have to be Asian or white to get a proper service at this establishment. I was very disappointed because I really enjoyed the food.
Good food, good and fast service. Reasonable prices.
Best dim sum on gold coast, and very authentic Cantonese cuisine.
Loved it! Old school dim sum on carts! Everything taste great, like my childhood in NYC Chinatown! The wait wasn't bad on a Saturday lunch rush. Try everything if you are new to dim sum only then you would ever know what you like :) The cart ladies were much nicer then the wait staff. They showed us what they had in the cart and explained if we didn't know. Ask for a dim sum menu so they can point to the picture if they can't translate to English. And you can point to tell them what you want.
3 1/2 stars for the food alone. Small and pack with tables. We came in around 1:15pm on a Sunday, a lot of people waiting but surprisingly we got a table after 25mins. The dim sum was really good, not greasy. I particularly like the chicken feet(鳳爪), taste different than the norm; and durian pastry(榴槤酥), it was still hot, just out of the oven! The service was ok.
Generally excellent food in normal times. But during Covid pandemic, quality has slipped. One dumpling (shrimp and veggie dumpling) had vegetable inside that has gone bad. Delivery service is terrible and ruins the experience. 48 minutes late and delivery person demands cash tip face to face when every other delivery service operates on a contactless basis (note this is during the Covid outbreak). There was no way to tip on site (no app available). I’d be happy paying a delivery fee upfront but this is NOT how you do it. They need to move to an Uber Eats or other delivery platform with better service and logistics. Food quality should be consistent. Not ordering delivery again until this is improved.
The dim sum here are really great and there are a lot of choices. Probably the best around that area. If you love dim sum and wants varieties, this place is the one.
Food are good! The fried beef noodles were very authentic!
One of the great Chinese (Hong Kong style) cuisine restaurant, the dim sum are delicious. Nice dining environment and clean. Overall the price is reasonable.
Thoroughly enjoyed the soup dumplings (I'm uncultured so I don't know the proper terminology) and the pork dumplings. A Chinese friend of mine had strongly recommended I go with a Chinese friend, but I didn't have that option because it was a family dinner. I also tried the fried lobster and it was alright. Had to get a little hands on as one does with lobster. Overall had a great experience with the food and the service.
This place is amazing, it runs like a well oiled machine, make a reservation when possible they get pretty busy. Great food, great price, great service. Bring your own brown bag and enjoy.
Definitely a place worth visiting, the food is fantastic and well prepared, the rates are reasonable and it is consistently well kept in here. Keep it up.
Declining. Bathroom is malfunction, and doesnt even bother to put table cloth. But the food is still great. I hope they can keep it up...
Very good authentic Chinese food at a large restaurant. Extensive menu in English. The duck was great as well as the soups. BYOB.
Their dim sum dishes were delicious. However their main course dishes did not have as much flavor or spice to them. Also I thought the prices were a little too high.
We were craving for dim sum and ordered takeout from this restaurant for the first time on a Sunday. They were pretty busy and it took more than 30 minutes to get our order. We liked their Shrimp dumplings, Sui Mai, Bamboo shoot rolls, and Steamed pork buns the most. Turnip cake, Shrimp stuffed hot pepper and Chicken feet were good too. The only dish that I didn't enjoy as much was the Leek dumplings. Overall, the food was good and price was fair.
Delicious authentic chinese dimsum in fort lee. Very nice decor, feels like an upscale chinese restaurant. Staff are friendly and attentive and service is quick even if you order from the menu. Only reason i give this place a 4 star is because of their fried calamari. The batter they used tastes like a funnel cake. So the sweet batter with the calamari does not mingle well together.
Good dim sum place in Bergen county. In the heart of fort Lee is Aquarius seafood, they have all the selection as you would find in any Chinatown, Brooklyn and queens dim sum places, I would say as good as most of them. Come early, it gets packed quick. The valet parking is a nice touch
Wonderful authentic Chinese restaurant. Beautiful dining area. Situated in a nice little section of Fort Lee. Parking can be a challenge.
Great food with great price for dim sum! Three people ordered 11 dishes and cost only 60 dollars including tips. We ate a lot. There is a valet parking especially for this restaurant. A large parking place after the restaurant. No worries for parking if you drive here.Get here on Saturday 1pm and wait for around 10 minutes in line.Decoration is nice, service is also good.
Good Chinese food... Authentic Cantonese cuisine, decent service. July 21, 2019 UPDATEApparently there is a new head chef in town, as the quality of the dim sum has greatly improved. We stopped coming here about a year ago because of the declining quality/taste of the dim sum.... But we decided to come back again, since it's too far to drive to Flushing. We're glad we gave this place another shot. While the service is still less than desirable (a bit rude, rushed, and curt), we'll have to give them the benefit of the doubt as there is a mad crush of people on the weekends, especially during the busy brunch hours.
Great authentic Chinese food for dinner, but service was a little impatient and short. Came back for dim sum and will probably never come back. I asked how long the wait is, and was told “it’ll be quick”. When I asked again for a time frame, the lady at the registered snapped and said “i just said it’ll be quick!” The food was good but service was god awful. The carts stayed in one place the whole time and the lady attending the cart just walked around giving people soy sauce so you can’t even physically walk over to get food and have your tab stamped. It took over 15-20 minutes to even get a dish onto the table (which for dim sum, this is extremely slow). For a meal that should’ve been relatively quick, it took 2 hours because it took forever to just get attention and to get food. The food is good, but not worth it if this is the service you get.
One of the rear places in North NJ to get dim sum. It’s only served during lunch hour tho. The dim sum items are really tasty, fresh and easily available. They have some great regular food too, especially seafood. Their menu is pretty huge with variety of proteins and styles of dishes. I have been going every other week to try out different items. Everything is priced decently. Their service is really good as well.
